SUMMARY:Missing in the System: The Serial Killer DNA Gap
DESCRIPTION:What happens when the DNA of violent offenders — including suspected serial killers — never makes it into the national database?\n \n In this powerful fireside chat\, Bill Thomas and Detective Lindsey Wade (ret.) examine the barriers that allow violent offenders to remain invisible in national databases\, the investigative challenges that follow\, and the reforms needed to close this gap.\n \n Detective Wade shares how she discovered Ted Bundy’s DNA was not in CODIS more than two decades after his execution — and how her efforts helped lead to its inclusion in 2011. Wade will also discuss her role in advancing Jennifer and Michella’s Law\, a Washington State reform allowing DNA from deceased offenders to be entered into CODIS — a change that has already helped solve long-cold cases.\n \n Bill Thomas brings a deeply personal perspective through his decades-long pursuit of answers in the Colonial Parkway Murders\, which claimed the life of his sister\, Cathy. He’ll discuss the recent identification of a suspect linked through forensic evidence after death -- highlighting the devastating consequences of current legal limitations and the urgent need for reform.\n \n This session offers a rare intersection of investigative insight\, victim advocacy\, and policy reform — showing how overlooked DNA can mean the difference between a case staying cold and finally being solved.

Holes and Earnest-Payte explore the case\, the investigation that finally identified the attacker\, and one survivor’s remarkable fight to be heard.

SUMMARY:The Housekeeper Knows All: What Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson Witnessed Working for the Murdaughs
DESCRIPTION:In June 2021\, the brutal murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh at the family’s Moselle hunting estate exposed a web of power\, privilege\, and deception that would end with Alex Murdaugh convicted of their killings. For years before that night\, Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson worked inside the Murdaugh home — quietly observing the routines\, relationships\, and private world behind one of South Carolina’s most powerful legal dynasties. When the case went to trial\, her testimony helped jurors understand what was normal inside that house — and what wasn’t — including key details about Alex’s movements\, the clothing he was wearing that day\, and the changes she noticed in the aftermath of the murders.\n \n In this compelling conversation\, Criminally Obsessed host Anne Emerson sits down with Blanca to discuss what she witnessed inside the Murdaugh home\, what it meant to testify in her former boss's murder trial\, and how she has moved forward in the years since.

SUMMARY:Alcatraz Escape: The Truth Behind America’s Most Famous Prison Break
DESCRIPTION:For more than 60 years\, one question has haunted investigators and fascinated the world: did anyone actually escape from Alcatraz?\n \n On the night of June 11\, 1962\, inmates Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin carried out one of the most daring prison breaks in American history - digging through air vents with sharpened spoons\, fooling guards with papier-mâché heads in their beds\, and slipping into the darkness of San Francisco Bay on a makeshift raft stitched together from prison raincoats.\n \n The FBI concluded the men drowned in the icy waters. But their bodies were never found. Now\, newly revealed FBI files\, fresh forensic analysis\, and decades of unanswered questions suggest the story may not be over.\n \n Coinciding with a brand-new Discovery series investigating the escape\, this riveting session brings the experts featured in the show to the CrimeCon stage: CSI authority Sheryl McCollum\, Anglin family nephew Ken Widner\, podcast hosts and producers Rob and Cindy Dorfmann\, former U.S. Marshal Lenny DePaul\, and retired FBI agent Stewart Fillmore. Together\, they’ll take us inside the legendary prison break and the mystery of what may have happened after three men vanished into the night.

SUMMARY:No Body\, No Crime? How Prosecutors Prove Murder Without a Body
DESCRIPTION:What happens when someone vanishes — with no body\, no clear crime scene\, and no confirmed cause of death — yet police and prosecutors are convinced it was murder? So-called "no body" homicide cases are the most complex and controversial trials in the criminal justice system. Former homicide prosecutor Tad DiBiase\, the nation’s leading authority on “no body” murder prosecutions\, takes us inside these difficult cases. Drawing from decades of experience and landmark trials\, DiBiase will reveal how he trains police and prosecutors to prove a murder occurred\, what evidence can replace a victim’s remains\, and the investigative strategies used to build a case when there is no body. DiBiase will give a behind the scenes look into how prosecutors convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt\, turning circumstantial evidence into compelling proof of guilt in some of the rarest of trials in criminal law.

DESCRIPTION:Raised in a volatile home in Redondo Beach\, California\, Owen Hanson found purpose and identity in sports. After walking on to USC’s championship football team\, he entered a world of wealth\, privilege\, and influence — and became determined to claim the lifestyle he saw around him.\n \n What started with selling steroids and running BetOdog\, a high-stakes sports betting operation\, quickly escalated into large-scale drug trafficking\, money laundering\, and international cartel ties. By his 20s\, Hanson was living a life of luxury — until millions went missing\, addiction deepened\, and federal investigators began unraveling it all.\n \n After his arrest\, Hanson served nearly a decade of a 21-year sentence. Behind bars\, he confronted the choices that led him there and found an unexpected path forward. A makeshift protein ice cream made from commissary ingredients sparked the idea for California Ice Protein\, the company he founded after earning his MBA in prison.\n \n Moderated by Nate Eaton\, this conversation goes inside the story of The California Kid and Amazon Prime’s Cocaine Quarterback\, as Hanson shares his story of accountability\, redemption and rebuilding from the ground up.

SUMMARY:No Body\, No Silence: The Brittany Wallace Story
DESCRIPTION:When a person disappears\, the silence can be deafening. But what happens when there’s no body\, no arrest\, and a family still searching for answers?\n \n Brittany Wallace’s father\, Greg Wallace\, joins Hide and Seek host James Baysinger and former Assistant United States Attorney Tad DiBiase — a nationally recognized expert in no-body homicide prosecutions — to examine one of the most difficult realities in criminal law: building a murder case when a body has never been found.\n \n From the personal devastation of a family left in limbo to the investigative roadblocks and legal strategy required to pursue justice without physical remains\, this session pulls back the curtain on what it takes to move a case like Brittany’s forward.\n \n This isn’t just a story about what’s missing. It’s about what can still be proven.

Over just three days in 2012\, an unknown firestarter ignited 52 major fires across the region — more than anyone in America had ever set in such a short period of time. Panic spread. Media pressure mounted. Political interference complicated the hunt. Investigators faced a daunting question: How do you identify one arsonist when the only witness is fire? Former Los Angeles Arson Task Force lead investigator Det. Ed Nordskog - who was in charge of this largest ever serial arson investigation in America - takes us deep into the fire forensics that cracked the case. He led more than 400 investigators who raced against the clock\, chasing over 700 tips in a high-stakes\, 96-hour manhunt. You’ll learn how burn patterns\, ignition sequencing\, accelerant indicators\, and point-of-origin analysis revealed the signature of a single offender. Det. Nordskog will break down how investigators read heat shadows\, V-patterns\, and ventilation clues to reconstruct each scene — and how subtle consistencies across dozens of fires exposed the arsonist’s evolving methodology. You’ll also gain insight into how forensic evidence helped separate copycats from the true offender\, link scenes across jurisdictions\, and predict the suspect’s next moves — ultimately leading to his arrest -- even as he prepared to ignite 17 more fires. If you’ve ever wondered how investigators “read” a fire scene or how science turns ashes into evidence\, this exclusive look at America's largest-ever fire investigation is a session you won’t want to miss.

SUMMARY:Scott Peterson: The New Evidence (Presented by A&E)
DESCRIPTION:Scott Peterson became the center of one of the most infamous murder cases in modern American history after he was convicted of killing his wife\, Laci Peterson\, and their unborn son\, Conner. A&E’s upcoming documentary special\, "Scott Peterson: The New Evidence" explores a recent bombshell petition that introduced potential new evidence that could challenge the prosecution's account of the murders more than twenty years after their tragic deaths. In the special\, veteran defense attorney and ABC News legal consultant\, Chris Pixley\, conducts an in-depth examination of the evidence\, undertaking a meticulous analysis of the timeline and other crucial details surrounding the case\, including never-before-heard witness statements and more. \n \n Join Pixley in this session where he will lead a discussion with Scott Peterson’s defense attorney Mark Geragos and retired LAPD Detective and current police practices expert Ninette Toosbuy to discuss the recent developments of the case and revisit some of the most vexing questions about what really happened to Laci and Conner. Pulling back the curtain on a case that continues to divide public opinion\, this session examines the evolving evidence and the enduring complexity of high-profile convictions.

SUMMARY:America’s Greatest Detective: Women in Law Enforcement
DESCRIPTION:Law&Crime presents the 4th annual America’s Greatest Detective Award\, a title awarded annually at the CrimeCon CLUE Awards to recognize the most complex investigative work done by teams or individuals working in or adjacent to law enforcement.\n \n The role of a detective requires grit—but for women in a male-dominated field\, it also demands a profound level of intentionality. In this session\, this year’s official AGD nominees—an elite group of four detectives—offer an inside look at the cases\, challenges\, and realities behind their work.\n \n They represent a new era where solving the case is only one part of the mission. These nominees are actively rewriting the rules of the industry by fostering collaborative environments where women work together to crack codes and solve crimes. From the tactical strategies used to break through institutional barriers to the essential work of helping female officers manage the high-stakes stress of the force\, this conversation explores how these leaders use their success as a platform to teach\, protect\, and empower the next generation of female investigators.

SUMMARY:The Epstein Survivors’ Stand: No More Secrets\, No More Silence
DESCRIPTION:For the women who survived Jeffrey Epstein\, the story didn’t end with his death - it’s where their real fight began. Legendary investigative journalist Chris Hansen sits down with Epstein survivors Haley Robson\, Jena-Lisa Jones\, and Courtney Wild for a powerful\, deeply moving conversation about truth\, accountability\, and the long road toward systemic change. Taking the stage not as victims\, but as survivors and advocates\, they'll speak with raw honesty about the manipulation\, coercion\, and psychological control that defined Epstein’s world — as well as the fear\, backlash\, and retaliation that can continue long after abuse ends. Chris goes beyond the headlines to focus on their stories: how they survived\, reclaimed their power\, and why they refuse to let their voices be silenced. Together\, these women are demanding accountability\, full transparency\, and the release of documents that could expose the powerful network that enabled abuse to thrive. This session is a powerful testament to solidarity\, resilience\, and the pursuit of justice for all survivors. As Haley Robson puts it: “He’ll never be able to break me or take my soul. That is mine."

SUMMARY:Deepfake Danger: Confronting the Rise of Nudify Apps
DESCRIPTION:A disturbing new threat is rapidly gaining ground online-- and it’s targeting children. “Nudify” apps use artificial intelligence to generate explicit images of real people\, often without their knowledge or consent. For young victims\, the impact is immediate and devastating\, turning a single photo into a tool for harassment\, sextortion and long-term trauma. Michelle DeLaune\, President and CEO of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children\, is joined by survivor advocate Francesca Mani and her mother\, Dorota Mani\, who have helped lead the fight for stronger laws to combat this emerging form of abuse. Together\, they’ll unpack how these platforms work\, why they’re spreading so quickly\, and the real-world consequences for victims and families. The conversation will also explore the challenges facing law enforcement and the urgent need for coordinated action from technology companies\, policymakers\, and the public. As AI continues to evolve\, so do the risks to children. The question is no longer whether this technology will be used to harm — it already is. The real question is: what are we going to do about it?

SUMMARY:What Makes Them Tick? Inside the Mind of a Psychopath
DESCRIPTION:Can a brain scan predict criminal behavior? Can neuroscience help explain — or even predict — psychopathy? Internationally renowned neuroscientist Dr. Kent Kiehl\, one of the world’s leading psychopathy researchers\, takes attendees inside the criminal mind. After scanning thousands of incarcerated offenders and building one of the largest forensic brain databases in the world\, Dr. Kiehl has identified measurable differences in brain structure tied to psychopathic traits and violent behavior. SUMMARY:Behind the Facade: Social Media\, Domestic Violence & the Courtney Clenney Case
DESCRIPTION:Join Coffeehouse Crime host Adrian Stewart and editor Callum Jupp\, known for their deeply researched storytelling\, as they examine the case of Courtney Clenney: an OnlyFans model accused of killing her boyfriend in a volatile relationship marked by repeated conflict\, alleged abuse\, and escalating violence. Behind the headlines and carefully curated social media persona lies a far more complex and troubling reality. One that raises difficult questions about power\, perception\, and what truly happens behind closed doors. Rather than focusing on verdicts\, Adrian and Callum will explore the broader dynamics at play\, breaking down the warning signs of domestic violence\, how cycles of abuse can intensify over time\, and why these situations are so often misunderstood until it’s too late. This is not just a story about one relationship. It’s a sobering\, thought-provoking look at how abuse can exist in plain sight\, and why it can happen to anyone\, regardless of status\, image\, or appearance.

SUMMARY:Vanished Before the Bus: The 40-Year Hunt for Sheri Jo Elliott’s Killer
DESCRIPTION:On November 16\, 1983\, 16-year-old Sheri Jo Elliott left home to catch the bus to Flint Carman High School. She never made it. Four days later\, her body was discovered 30 miles away in a rural ditch. Sheri had been abducted\, sexually assaulted\, and shot multiple times. Evidence suggested she may have been held captive for days before she was killed. Then\, silence.\n \n For four long decades\, her case haunted a community. Now\, the silence is finally broken.\n \n Hear from Othram Labs Co-Founder Kristen Mittelman\, Michigan investigators\, and Sheri Jo’s family\, who refused to let her story fade. After the case was reopened in 2023\, Othram’s Forensic-Grade Genome Sequencing helped develop a suspect profile pointing to Roni Collins\, a 75-year-old man living just miles from Sheri Jo’s hometown of Flint.\n \n Before detectives could confront him\, Collins died by suicide in 2026. But the truth didn’t die with him. DNA recovered during his autopsy delivered the answer Sheri’s family had waited 40 years to hear – it was him.\n \n This is the story of a case that refused to be forgotten — and the science rewriting what’s possible for cold case justice.

SUMMARY:When You Don't Know You're a Missing Person: Michelle Newton Shares Her Story
DESCRIPTION:For decades\, Michelle Newton was listed as a missing person — but she had no idea. \n \n In 1983\, when she was just three years old\, her mother\, Debra Newton\, took her from Louisville\, Kentucky under the pretense of relocating for a job. Just like that\, the little girl vanished from the life of her father and extended family. Investigators later issued a custodial interference indictment and even placed Debra on the FBI’s Top 8 Most Wanted parental-kidnapping list\, but the trail went cold and the case faded from public view for more than 40 years.\n \n In 2025\, a Crime Stoppers tip led authorities to a woman living in The Villages\, Florida\, under the name Sharon Nealy — an identity Debra had used for decades while building a quiet life and remarrying. When police confirmed who she really was and arrested her\, the breakthrough also led to Michelle discovering her own history\, realizing she had been a missing child her entire life\, and reconnecting with her biological father\, Joseph Newton\, nearly half a century later.\n \n In this remarkable session\, Criminally Obsessed host Anne Emerson sits down with Michelle and Joseph to talk about the surreal moment Michelle learned her true identity\, what it was like for her to meet the family who never stopped searching\, and how they’re all navigating life after uncovering a past Michelle never knew — all against the backdrop of a case that shows how truth can emerge even after decades in the shadows.

SUMMARY:When Silence Breaks: The Power of Victim Impact Statements
DESCRIPTION:Criminal trials focus on evidence\, procedures and defendant's rights. But behind every case number are lives permanently altered. Sentencing is where that truth finally speaks. \n \n That's when survivors and loved ones deliver Victim Impact Statements (VIS) - giving voice to the voiceless\, voice to the victims and voice to everyone shattered by these unimaginable crimes. A VIS is grief given a language. It's trauma spoken aloud. A moment for survivors and loved ones to reclaim their voice and be heard.\n \n In this powerful and emotional session\, brave members of our community take the stage to share their own Victim Impact Statements. Some have been read in court\; others have never been spoken aloud-- until now.\n \n Moderated by Renee Williams of the National Center for Victims of Crime\, this deeply moving session explores why a VIS matters - not only in the pursuit of justice but also on the long road toward healing.

SUMMARY:[SEPARATE TICKET REQUIRED] Killer Triggers: Understanding Homicide with Joe Kenda
DESCRIPTION:What pushes someone past the point of no return to commit the most heinous crime? What makes someone think there is no other option than murder? Using his real homicide cases as reference points\, Joe Kenda will break down the warning signs\, patterns\, and triggers that repeatedly surfaced throughout his career to identify possible connections to what makes the criminal mind do what they do. \n Exclusively for CrimeCon Vegas attendees\, Kenda will examine the moments\, pressures\, and decisions that transformed conflict into murder\, as together you’ll seek to uncover and analyze the various motives and breaking points behind a person’s decision to commit the ultimate crime and hopefully learn from those findings how to prevent future acts of violence.

SUMMARY:Las Vegas Shooting Part 1: The Race to the 32nd Floor
DESCRIPTION:Part 1: On October 1\, 2017\, what began as a night of country music at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas turned into the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. From the 32nd Floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino\, gunfire rained down on thousands\, ultimately leaving 60 people dead and hundreds more wounded. This year\, CrimeCon is presenting 2 sessions that feature eyewitness accounts from the officials who ran toward the danger and investigated this tragic event. In this powerful\, first-ever 2-part session\, Det. Kenneth Mead\, SWAT Officer Levi Hancock and Officer Ashton Packe recount the evening of the attack\, as gunfire erupted over the crowd. Officer Ashton Packe recounts the chaos on the ground\, the confusion\, the radio traffic and immediate realization that this was no ordinary call. SWAT Officer Levi Hancock will walk you through the tactical response and rapid deployment to the 32nd Floor of Mandalay Bay\, where there were tense moments in the silent hallway outside Room 32-135 before explosive charges were prepped and deployed. Det. Kenneth Mead reveals decision-making under pressure and offers a minute-by-minute investigative look at the coordination and psychology into the investigation.

SUMMARY:Killing Us Softly and Quietly: Female Serial Killers in the 21st Century
DESCRIPTION:In today’s world\, many think we know what a serial killer looks like. We’re wrong. While most true crime fans know Aileen Wuornos — the serial killer who inspired Monster — her infamy stems in part from how unusual she was: one of the few female serial killers whose predatory behavior and violent methods more closely aligned with the traditional male profile. She is the exception\, not the rule. Most female serial killers don’t fit the mold. They blend in and kill quietly. In this chilling\, revealing session\, renowned criminologist Dr. Casey Jordan dives deep into the typologies of female serial killers\, pulling back the curtain on a largely hidden world\, where motives and methods are often subtle\, pragmatic\, and difficult to detect. Through modern case studies and evolving criminal profiles\, Dr. Jordan reveals how female serial killers operate\, why they’re so difficult to catch and how many may still be out there - unseen\, unsuspected\, and unstoppable.

SUMMARY:Trust the Dog: When K9s Crack the Case
DESCRIPTION:No fingerprints. No witnesses. No obvious trail. And yet…the dog knows. When cases hit a dead end\, law enforcement turns to a partner who doesn’t rely on what’s visible - but on what’s left behind. From the scent of a fleeing fugitive to the trace evidence of narcotics\, firearms\, and human remains\, K9s are trained to detect what criminals think they’ve gotten away with. In this high-intensity session\, K9 Founder Kristi Hoss Schiller\, CEO J.P. Davis\, Sgt. Chris Moore and Officer Jaime Garcia – along with their canine companions\, Liza & Trex – invite you to step inside real investigations\, where a single command - and a single alert - changed the outcome of a case. Hear firsthand from handlers who have chased the unknown\, trusted their instincts\, and relied on their K9 partners in moments where hesitation wasn’t an option. This session pulls back the curtain on how these extraordinary teams work - and why\, when everything is on the line\, officers don’t guess. They trust the dog.

SUMMARY:Las Vegas Shooting Part 2: The Aftermath
DESCRIPTION:In this unprecedented second session on the 2017 Las Vegas shooting\, we shift from the breach on October 1 to the aftermath. Det. Kenneth Mead provides an inside look at how law enforcement reconstructed one of the most complex crime scenes in American history\, breaking down what investigators uncovered in the days and weeks that followed. Officer Ashton Packe shares how officers processed the chaos in real time\, while SWAT Officer Levi Hancock walks through how the tactical response unfolded. Det. Mead also explores how behavioral threat assessment and forensic psychology played a pivotal role in the effort to determine motive\, including insight from interviews and the interrogation of the suspect’s girlfriend. Together\, the three officials confront the human toll of the tragedy — survival\, resilience\, trauma\, and the lasting impact on first responders\, the community\, and the nation. This session is not only about what happened\, but what changed in the areas of response\, recovery\, and prevention. Two days. One city. One of the most pivotal moments in modern American history — examined through raw firsthand accounts\, unflinching honesty\, and hard-earned insight.

SUMMARY:The Cult Connection: Inside the Search for Two Missing "Cosmic" Toddlers
DESCRIPTION:When a child goes missing\, every second matters. But when a cult may be involved\, the search for answers can take a far darker and more complex turn where secrecy\, control and belief systems create obstacles investigators don’t typically face. Join the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children for a gripping\, real-world case tied to the so-called “University of Cosmic Intelligence\,” a group believed to be connected to the disappearance of two toddlers\, Malaiyah Wickerson and Ashton Mitchell\, and their mothers. Moderated by Angeline Hartmann\, NCMEC's Director of Communications\, this powerful session brings you face-to-face with both sides of the search: the investigator working to unravel the case - Det. Sgt. George Ervin - and a grandmother - Cartisha Morgan - living the heartbreak and uncertainty every single day. You’ll hear firsthand how the investigation is unfolding: navigating unpredictable behavior and pushing through layers of secrecy to get to the truth\, while also understanding the very real human toll behind the headlines. This is more than a case overview. It’s a rare\, behind-the-scenes look at what happens when missing child investigations collide with fringe groups and complex ideologies. If you’re drawn to the cases that challenge everything investigators know and want to understand how the public can truly make a difference\, this is a session you don’t want to miss. Awareness isn’t just important in a case like this\; it can be the key to bringing these children home.

SUMMARY:Vanished in the Night: Chilling Disappearances That Need Answers
DESCRIPTION:What happens when someone disappears — leaving behind a trail of clues that leads nowhere? In this gripping session\, Chris On Crime takes audiences inside two haunting Texas disappearances that still demand answers decades later. On March 10\, 2002\, 13-year-old Laura Ayala stepped outside her southeast Houston apartment just after 10 p.m. to grab a newspaper for a school project. Minutes later\, the newspaper - and the shoes she wore - were found just outside her door — but Laura was gone. Investigators later uncovered her DNA inside a van connected to a violent string of assaults and murders\, yet 24 years later there are still no arrests and no resolution. Fourteen years later\, another Texas family would face the same nightmare. In 2016 just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area\, Typhenie Johnson went downstairs to meet an ex-boyfriend who refused to accept their breakup. She was forced into the trunk of his car and taken away. He was convicted of kidnapping and sentenced to life in prison — but Typhenie has never been found. In this unforgettable session\, Chris on Crime dives deep into the chilling details\, evidence\, investigative twists\, and the voices of families still searching for answers. She’ll discuss the painful pursuit of peace when someone vanishes — and the relentless fight for truth that continues.

SUMMARY:BIA Missing & Murdered Unit: Turning Mission into Measurable Impact
DESCRIPTION:Across Indian Country\, the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) continues to devastate families\, communities\, and Tribal Nations. Generations of challenging circumstances\, gaps in data\, jurisdictional complexity\, and under resourced investigative systems have contributed to a crisis that demands sustained\, coordinated\, and culturally grounded action. The Bureau of Indian Affairs Missing and Murdered Unit (BIA MMU) was created to meet this moment with urgency\, accountability\, and a clear mandate: bring resolution to MMIP cases and deliver justice for Indigenous people. This session introduces “Turning Mission into Measurable Impact\,” a conversation designed to strengthen how MMU personnel\, Tribal partners\, and interagency collaborators translate mission driven values into operational results. Participants will learn how the MMU is reshaping investigative approaches\, improving data integrity\, and building collaborative frameworks that honor Tribal sovereignty while accelerating case resolution.

SUMMARY:What Bones Reveal: Solving a Decade-Old Disappearance in Oklahoma
DESCRIPTION:It’s one of Oklahoma’s most haunting and notorious disappearance cases. In July 2013\, James Conn Nipp was driving 17-year-old Molly Miller and 22-year-old Colt Haynes through Love County when deputies attempted a stop. With outstanding warrants\, Nipp fled - leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash. Nipp ran. Molly and Colt were never seen again. His claim – Molly and Colt fled into the darkness. For years\, families and investigators never believed it. Now - more than a decade later — the truth is finally beginning to surface. Join Zone 7’s Sheryl “Mac” McCollum\, who worked boots on the ground on the case\, alongside documentary filmmakers Rob and Cindy Dorfman of Strong Island Films\, as they reveal a major breakthrough that just occurred: the remains of Molly Miller and Colt Haynes have just been confirmed. With confirmed remains\, the case enters a whole new phase. Join Mac as she reveals the raw\, exclusive details inside this ongoing investigation\, including all the hard work of famed FBI agent Maureen O'Connell and other investigators. What story will the bones tell? What story does the crash scene tell? How do the 911 calls reshape the timeline? And were Molly and Colt treated as missing persons or just runaways? This is a riveting look at a case evolving in real time - and the pursuit of answers that refused to fade.

SUMMARY:Analyzing Coercive Control: The Root of All Evil
DESCRIPTION:What if the most dangerous crimes don’t start with violence… but with influence? Coercive control usually doesn’t look like chains and locked doors -- it looks like paperwork\, pressure\, isolation from outside support\, and a slow tightening and shrinking of options -- until “leaving” feels impossible. In this revealing session\, Criminologist Mike King exposes the same psychological control playbook used by cult leaders\, political movements\, corporations\, and even inside families. He’ll break down how manipulators disguise control as “protection\,” and how ordinary systems can get twisted into tools of domination. King will lay out the red flags of coercive control so you can spot unhealthy behavior early and reduce your risk of victimization. You’ll walk away with practical tools to help protect yourself and the people you care about\, before it’s too late.
