Brian Entin is a senior national correspondent for NewsNation and host of the podcast Brian Entin Investigates. Entin first garnered national attention for his coverage of the 2021 Gabby Petito murder investigation. He spent six weeks camped out on the lawn next to then suspected murderer Brian Laundrie’s house in Northport, Florida where he delivered exclusive reporting and interviews with witnesses, police, federal authorities, and online sleuths. Entin became the go-to reporter in the murder of four University of Idaho college students. He was on the ground in Idaho for months and the first national reporter in Effort, Pennsylvania when suspect Bryan Kohberger was arrested. Additionally, he helped create NewsNation’s “Missing” persons series that has spotlighted over 75 cases and brought closure to more than 20 families.
Entin also spent almost two months on the ground in Tucson, Arizona covering the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. Entin has won four Emmy Awards and in a 2023 profile, Vanity Fair described Entin as a “star” who “barely slept”—and fully embedded into the stories he covers.
