About me
Assigned as lead trainer and supervisor of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit. Management of thirty-one (31) man unit. Regional trainer who regularly conducts basic, advanced and maintenance training for various local agencies and nationally. Maintains narcotics and explosive training aids. Regularly travels to assist other agencies in both basic and advanced canine training methods. Oversees patrol, tactical, narcotics, explosives, and SAR training for the multi-faceted canine unit.
Serves on the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (N.N.D.D.A.) board and Regional Training Director. Serves on the K9s.Org board. Regularly conducts certifications within the greater Houston area. Electronic Collar Trainer and S.W.A.T. certified canine handler/trainer.
As a subject matter expert, have been requested to testify at both local and national level regarding canine case law.
