Francesca Mani is a student advocate and one of the leading youth voices on AI safety and digital protection. After becoming the first teenager to publicly speak out about AI deepfake abuse at 14, she helped catalyze national awareness and policy change across the United States, contributing to laws in 47 states and federal action. She was recognized as the youngest individual named to the TIME100 AI list.
Her advocacy has been featured in major national and international media, including 60 Minutes, as well as leading publications such as TIME, The New York Times, CNN, Forbes, and The Guardian.
Building on her work, Francesca has co-authored a children’s book on AI ethics and literacy and is co-developing a K–8 AI ethics and AI literacy curriculum with her mom, designed to empower young people to understand and navigate technology responsibly.
