Steve and Kristi have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of five children. Family has always been at the center of their lives, along with a deep commitment to their community.
Steve began his career in the information technology field during the early Silicon Valley .com era and later earned a degree in Computer Science. After moving to Idaho in 2003, he continued working in technology and has spent many years as an infrastructure analyst in the healthcare field.
Kristi devoted many years to raising their five children as a stay-at-home mother, volunteering at their schools and supporting their community. As her children grew older, she returned to work with the local school district.
On November 13, 2022, their lives were forever changed when their daughter, Kaylee, was taken in a senseless act of violence. In the face of unimaginable loss, Steve and Kristi chose to turn their grief into purpose.
Through their work with Murder Has a Name, they are committed to honoring Kaylee’s life by standing with victims, supporting families, and ensuring that no family searching for justice is left without the resources to seek answers.
