About me
Martin D. Gould is a Founding Partner at Gould Grieco & Hensley (GGH) and Co-Chair of its Sexual Abuse Practice Group, where he has built a national reputation for advocating on behalf of survivors of rape, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. Litigating in more than 25 jurisdictions, he has helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements—including over $485 million in global sexual abuse resolutions—while representing thousands of survivors in some of the country’s most high-profile cases. His work spans claims against powerful institutions and individuals, from universities and youth organizations to religious entities and prominent figures, always centered on helping survivors find justice, accountability, and a path toward healing. Known for pairing aggressive litigation with deeply personal client care, Gould approaches each case with the understanding that every survivor’s story—and recovery—is profoundly individual.
A defining focus of Gould’s current work is his leadership in nationwide litigation against major tech platforms, including Roblox and Discord, in cases that are reshaping how the legal system confronts online exploitation. Representing hundreds of survivors—including prominent whistleblower “Schlep”—his team alleges these platforms enabled the grooming and abuse of children by predators, while fostering a false sense of safety through misleading assurances to parents and users. The litigation spans federal and state courts across the country and targets not only failures in moderation and oversight, but systemic design choices that may have facilitated harm. Beyond the courtroom, Gould and his team are actively advocating for stronger child safety legislation, working to close gaps in protections and hold technology companies to a higher standard of accountability. Through this work, Gould is helping bring national attention to the risks children face online—and driving meaningful change aimed at protecting the next generation.
