Stewart Fillmore retired from the FBI in 2016 following a 29-year career as a Special Agent. He served in Dallas, Little Rock, Chicago and Tyler, Texas. In 2017, he published Tenaha: Corruption And Cover-Up In Small Town Texas, about a case he worked involving public corruption, drug trafficking and murder. After retiring from the FBI, he worked as a Private Investigator focusing primarily on murder cases.
He has appeared as a guest expert on three episodes of Expedition Unknown on the Discovery Channel, Hunting Dillinger’s Lost Loot, Chasing Bonnie and Clyde and Escaping from Alcatraz and regularly appears on Court TV.
He currently is co-host of Back In Crime, a podcast he does with retired Secret Service agent Todd Hiles, where they discuss famous true crime cases. He and Todd also have a Tik Tok channel, The Texas Crime Travelers, with 600k followers and over 25 million views.
