Prescription for Murder: The Ohio Dentist Double Homicide
Friday May 29, 2026 12:05pm - 1:00pm PDT
A surgeon stands at the center of a chilling mystery, accused of stalking the life he once left behind. Michael McKee allegedly threatened his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, with haunting words that suggested he would never truly let her go. She and her husband, Spencer Tepe, were found gunned down in their Ohio home with their children inexplicably left unharmed, sleeping in their bedrooms nearby. Investigators have been left piecing together a dark trail of possible obsession and a presence that may have been lurking long before the night of the murders.

With exclusive sources and a complete breakdown of evidence, Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber, Christ Stewart, Sierra Gillespie and Cody Thomas, alongside CourtTV’s Vinnie Politan present ‘Prescription for Murder: The Killings of Spencer and Monique Tepe.’

Silent Witness: How DNA Cracks Cold Cases & Restores Justice
Friday May 29, 2026 12:05pm - 1:00pm PDT
Join Spencer Coursen and CrimeCon’s goodest boy, Ronin, for a powerful conversation with survivor, author, and advocate Ashley Spence.

After surviving a sexual assault in college, Ashley turned her experience into action—using the very DNA evidence collected in her case to help secure justice and spark a national movement. Now the founder of the DNA Justice Project, she’s working to ensure no survivor is left waiting for answers.

This session breaks down how forensic DNA actually works, why thousands of rape kits remain untested, and what it will take to fix a system that’s failing survivors—without compromising civil liberties. It’s a candid, trauma-informed conversation about resilience, science, and reform—and the real, actionable steps you can take to help drive change.

Missing in the System: The Serial Killer DNA Gap
Friday May 29, 2026 12:05pm - 1:00pm PDT
What happens when the DNA of violent offenders — including suspected serial killers — never makes it into the national database?

In this powerful fireside chat, Bill Thomas and Detective Lindsey Wade (ret.) examine the barriers that allow violent offenders to remain invisible in national databases, the investigative challenges that follow, and the reforms needed to close this gap.

Detective Wade shares how she discovered Ted Bundy’s DNA was not in CODIS more than two decades after his execution — and how her efforts helped lead to its inclusion in 2011. Wade will also discuss her role in advancing Jennifer and Michella’s Law, a Washington State reform allowing DNA from deceased offenders to be entered into CODIS — a change that has already helped solve long-cold cases.

Bill Thomas brings a deeply personal perspective through his decades-long pursuit of answers in the Colonial Parkway Murders, which claimed the life of his sister, Cathy. He’ll discuss the recent identification of a suspect linked through forensic evidence after death -- highlighting the devastating consequences of current legal limitations and the urgent need for reform.

This session offers a rare intersection of investigative insight, victim advocacy, and policy reform — showing how overlooked DNA can mean the difference between a case staying cold and finally being solved.

Hunting the Boogeyman: Paul Holes and the First Known Survivor of the NorCal Rapist
Friday May 29, 2026 1:20pm - 2:20pm PDT
Best known for helping crack the Golden State Killer case using investigative genetic genealogy, Paul Holes has spent decades advancing how law enforcement approaches complex cases.

Joining him is Nicole Earnest-Payte, survivor, advocate, and the first known victim of the convicted NorCal Rapist. After being attacked in her home at just 21 years old, Nicole spent years fighting for her case to be taken seriously — efforts that ultimately helped reveal a disturbing pattern of similar attacks across Northern California.

Their story is the subject of Hunting the Bogeyman, the podcast from Sony Music's The Binge, which follows Nicole’s pursuit of answers and the investigation that revealed a serial predator operating for decades. Holes and Earnest-Payte explore the case, the investigation that finally identified the attacker, and one survivor’s remarkable fight to be heard.

The Housekeeper Knows All: What Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson Witnessed Working for the Murdaughs
Friday May 29, 2026 1:20pm - 2:20pm PDT
In June 2021, the brutal murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh at the family’s Moselle hunting estate exposed a web of power, privilege, and deception that would end with Alex Murdaugh convicted of their killings. For years before that night, Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson worked inside the Murdaugh home — quietly observing the routines, relationships, and private world behind one of South Carolina’s most powerful legal dynasties. When the case went to trial, her testimony helped jurors understand what was normal inside that house — and what wasn’t — including key details about Alex’s movements, the clothing he was wearing that day, and the changes she noticed in the aftermath of the murders.

In this compelling conversation, Criminally Obsessed host Anne Emerson sits down with Blanca to discuss what she witnessed inside the Murdaugh home, what it meant to testify in her former boss's murder trial, and how she has moved forward in the years since.

The Search for Nancy Guthrie: The Latest Leads and Historical Parallels
Friday May 29, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm PDT
It is the case that continues to grip the nation.

Join Fox Nation's "The Weekly Rap Sheet with Paul Mauro" with co-hosts Donna Rotunno and Josh Ritter, along with Fox Digital's Michael Ruiz, as they take a deep dive into the Nancy Guthrie case. The team, who spent weeks on the ground in Tucson, reveal the latest developments in the ongoing search and the cutting-edge tools available to find her as investigators continue their search for justice.

The expert panel will also draw parallels between the Guthrie case and two of history’s most infamous celebrity abductions: the 1963 kidnapping of Frank Sinatra Jr. and the 1993 Las Vegas kidnapping of Kevyn Wynn. While decades apart, these cases share a series of distinct parallels.

Paws on Pursuit of Justice: Live K9 Demonstrations
Friday May 29, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm PDT
When seconds matter and every clue counts, K9s.org teams are on the front lines. Since 2011, K9s.org has placed highly trained K9s across the US and France, assisting law enforcement and first responders in solving crimes, finding missing persons, and responding to disasters. From narcotics and explosives detection to tracking fugitives, arson investigations, electronic detection, and life-saving search and rescue, these dogs operate where humans can’t.

In this live demonstration, you’ll witness these extraordinary K9s in action — sniffing out hidden contraband, tracking targets, and performing the skills that can make the difference between a case going cold and a case being solved. Handlers will walk attendees through the training, techniques, and split-second decisions that define a K9’s life on duty, sharing real-world stories of danger, heroism, and lives saved.

Alcatraz Escape: The Truth Behind America’s Most Famous Prison Break
Friday May 29, 2026 4:15pm - 5:15pm PDT
For more than 60 years, one question has haunted investigators and fascinated the world: did anyone actually escape from Alcatraz?

On the night of June 11, 1962, inmates Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin carried out one of the most daring prison breaks in American history - digging through air vents with sharpened spoons, fooling guards with papier-mâché heads in their beds, and slipping into the darkness of San Francisco Bay on a makeshift raft stitched together from prison raincoats.

The FBI concluded the men drowned in the icy waters. But their bodies were never found. Now, newly revealed FBI files, fresh forensic analysis, and decades of unanswered questions suggest the story may not be over.

Coinciding with a brand-new Discovery series investigating the escape, this riveting session brings the experts featured in the show to the CrimeCon stage: CSI authority Sheryl McCollum, Anglin family nephew Ken Widner, podcast hosts and producers Rob and Cindy Dorfmann, former U.S. Marshal Lenny DePaul, and retired FBI agent Stewart Fillmore. Together, they’ll take us inside the legendary prison break and the mystery of what may have happened after three men vanished into the night.

No Body, No Crime? How Prosecutors Prove Murder Without a Body
Friday May 29, 2026 4:15pm - 5:15pm PDT
What happens when someone vanishes — with no body, no clear crime scene, and no confirmed cause of death — yet police and prosecutors are convinced it was murder? So-called "no body" homicide cases are the most complex and controversial trials in the criminal justice system.

Former homicide prosecutor Tad DiBiase, the nation’s leading authority on “no body” murder prosecutions, takes us inside these difficult cases. Drawing from decades of experience and landmark trials, DiBiase will reveal how he trains police and prosecutors to prove a murder occurred, what evidence can replace a victim’s remains, and the investigative strategies used to build a case when there is no body.

DiBiase will give a behind the scenes look into how prosecutors convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt, turning circumstantial evidence into compelling proof of guilt in some of the rarest of trials in criminal law.

Cocaine Quarterback: A USC Champion’s Fall into Crime & Fight for Redemption
Friday May 29, 2026 5:30pm - 6:30pm PDT
Raised in a volatile home in Redondo Beach, California, Owen Hanson found purpose and identity in sports. After walking on to USC’s championship football team, he entered a world of wealth, privilege, and influence — and became determined to claim the lifestyle he saw around him.

What started with selling steroids and running BetOdog, a high-stakes sports betting operation, quickly escalated into large-scale drug trafficking, money laundering, and international cartel ties. By his 20s, Hanson was living a life of luxury — until millions went missing, addiction deepened, and federal investigators began unraveling it all.

After his arrest, Hanson served nearly a decade of a 21-year sentence. Behind bars, he confronted the choices that led him there and found an unexpected path forward. A makeshift protein ice cream made from commissary ingredients sparked the idea for California Ice Protein, the company he founded after earning his MBA in prison.

Moderated by Nate Eaton, this conversation goes inside the story of The California Kid and Amazon Prime’s Cocaine Quarterback, as Hanson shares his story of accountability, redemption and rebuilding from the ground up.

10 Years of Up and Vanished: A Look Back with Payne Lindsey
Friday May 29, 2026 5:30pm - 6:30pm PDT
Since its inception in 2016, Up and Vanished has become a mainstay of factual true crime storytelling. Host and Tenderfoot TV founder Payne Lindsey has investigated the cases of Tara Grinstead, Ashley Loring HeavyRunner, Kristal Reisinger, Florence Okpealuk, and Joseph Balderas. Five cases across four seasons, with more than 500 million downloads.

This year at CrimeCon Las Vegas, Payne looks back at these cases, what’s happened since, and what still needs to be done to help the families get answers.

But Payne and his team aren’t stopping there. Exclusively at CC26, Payne is searching for his next case. Three surprise guests will join him with cases they want him to investigate. Then, attendees will have the chance to live pitch a case for Payne to consider for Season 5 of Up and Vanished.

You’ll only have one to two minutes at the mic to make your case, but if you don’t get enough time, you can also submit your case to cases @tenderfoot.tv.

Every case deserves publicity. Every case deserves answers. Every case deserves justice. Join Payne Lindsey and the team for this exclusive session and your chance to be part of Up and Vanished Season 5.

Have a Seat with Chris Hansen: An Investigation into Roblox
Friday May 29, 2026 5:30pm - 6:30pm PDT
Your kids play it. Your nieces and nephews play it. Your grandkids play it. Every kid in your neighborhood probably plays it. Roblox is one of the most popular gaming platforms in the world — but growing concerns about online predators, grooming, luring, and victimization through the platform’s social features have raised urgent questions about child safety.

Veteran investigative journalist Chris Hansen leads this exclusive conversation with “Schlep,” former Roblox user turned whistleblower and child safety activist; Martin Gould, a survivors’ and sexual abuse plaintiffs’ attorney representing thousands of potential Roblox victims; and Liz Murrill, Attorney General of Louisiana, who is pursuing legal action and demanding stronger protections for children online.

Together, they’ll examine what Hansen’s investigation has uncovered, the legal and safety battles underway, and what changes are needed to strengthen Roblox’s security measures to keep your children safe on their platforms against child predators.

Catch up on Chris Hansen’s Roblox investigation HERE.

Attendee discretion is advised. Due to the nature of this content, photography and filming of any kind are strictly prohibited. Step into the world of criminal investigative analysis and see how real-life behavioral profiling informs and assists investigations. Just like in the Netflix series Mindhunter, former FBI Unit Chief John Douglas will explore the fascinating process of understanding offenders through their crimes and from clues left by them during the interaction with the victim.

Using cases by Douglas featured both in Mindhunter, as well cases that have been presented in numerous crime documentaries, attendees will learn how Criminal Investigative Analysts and Criminal Profilers classify crimes, identify behavioral patterns, and create offender profiles to help law enforcement catch some of society’s most dangerous criminals.

Attendees learn from the man that created the blue print of the search into the minds of criminals, so join your fellow budding profilers and John Douglas for this exclusive event!
